Here is a previous add we ran to show new owners
or breeders some of the more intensive analysis and
research that is available to try and find better racing
or breeding bloodstock.

2006 YEARLING SALE SELECTION. Dec 2006-Pg1 ======================================

1…Our efficient team have compiled the pedigrees for all
the yearlings entered in the 2006 KARAKA Yearling Sales.
This year there are 1528 yearlings.

2…We have a MORE SOPHISTICATED ANALYSIS
programme than those currently available on the market,
it includes over 20 methods of comparing the linebreeding
of over 46,300 extremely good racehorses world wide.

3….Each method helps to explain some aspects of speed,
stamina, fast finishing ability, and the principles applied to
each sire and dam of a top racehorse also explain why they
have the ability to pass on speed and racing ability.

4….However, these methods do not completely explain
why certain individuals have that magical edge over the best
opposition available……UNTIL NOW!.

5….We have finally computerized an OUTSTANDING
PRINCIPLE OF BREEDING that allows Nature to
reward with repeated and additive ability, especially
culminating in that ability to finish faster than all other
opposition at the top level.

6…. We have compared all yearlings for a number of years
and identified over 160 SW, but the intensive linebreeding
methods still give a WIDE RANGE OF RESULTS. They
can duplicate POSITIVE or NEGATIVE TRAITS from
both parents and polarize them for opposite effects.

The few that get a major inheritance of superior traits still
require good legs, conformation, constitution, rearing,
training and jockeyship to succeed.

The unlucky ones get traits which lead to break down,
wind problems, faulty leg alignment, delicate constitution,
inefficient hearts, faulty temperaments.

7….We dissected about 30 champions because horses
like Octagonal and Sunline and over 300 similar outstanding
“Champions” just could not be picked up by comparing all
these horses by their linebreeding methods alone.

8….There are lots of requirements in a top pedigree. The
Sire and Dam have to have quite a few principles, as do
the ancestors in previous generations. However, when we
discovered the 2 PART OVERRIDING PRINCIPLE
which Nature rewards, then it has been very easy to
explain recent top horses like:

9….All these horses could not be identified by breeding,
family or linebreeding alone. BUT they have an extremely
high OVERRIDING PRINCIPLE index that place them
way above all the ordinary horses, and which gives Nature
a multiplication option when the 2nd principle is operated.

SELECTIONS,( PRESALE, UP TO, DURING SALE).

YOU physically inspect the yearlings and eliminate all the
ones that can be culled by too big/too small size, leg
alignment outside tolerable limits, lack of character, poor
balance or constitution, poor type, bad action, bone, poor
hind hock push and reach etc

Then we will giveYOUR SELECTED HORSES a thorough
pedigree examination and prepare for you a report which
would give you a very good understanding of the horses
expected racecourse potential.

We can e-mail reports for the next month leading up to the
sale, and do reports during the sale from Monday 30th Jan
to Monday 6 February, when we are at the sale. Great
value here for intense Consultant work for 5 weeks

OPTION 2…ALL YEARLINGS RANKED FROM
HIGHEST TO LOWEST ON 10 PRINCIPLES.

We have compiled all 1528 pedigrees to 10 generations
and can e-mail a chart of main principles RANKING some
important BREEDING PRINCIPLES across all yearlings
eg….all yearlings ranked by AMOUNT of linebreeding,
Numbers of linebred ancestors, No. female lines, Balance,
Chains, Matching, Focus 4, Performance for 5 generations,
By average wins for first 31 sires, By average wins for first
31 female ancestors, By inbred ancestors, By total
prepotency, or from a selection of other principles..

OPTION 3…..OUR 15 BEST RECOMMENDED
PEDIGREE SELECTIONS WITH SW POTENTIAL.

This option would require a tremendous amount of
investigation and ancestor and figure checking, and would
take about 14 days to complete, with 1,528 full pedigrees
having to be investigated…

We have several requirements for a sire to leave SW
progeny, more for the dam, and then the yearling needs to
pass requirements for Breeding Principles found in most
Champion gallopers, so this eliminates most and leaves a
very select few to thoroughly check for its physical type,
speed factors, and conformation strengths.

Adds a very high probability of success at the upper end
based on research and past success.
